Grand Prix Trials give you an opportunity to test the field and research your way into the actual Grand Prix, also chances to win byes into the main event which for a aspiring professional is a must! plenty of points for your DCI rating to be won at these events.

* Tournament Format: Block Constructed
* Participation Fee: £5.00

* Registration:
from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
* Tournament begins: 11:00 A.M

The main tournament at Grand Prix Trials Eastbourne is open to all players.

* Tournament Structure
o Modified Swiss-style (50-minute rounds).
o Rules Enforcement Level (REL) is Competitive
o The top players will receive byes to Grand Prix Birmingham
* Tournament Divisions and Prizes
All other prizes are Boosters!

Trial winners:

People who win a Trial event are awarded 3 byes in the Grand Prix that it feeds. Trial byes are not cumulative with other byes and do not pass down.

Gateway league throughout the day
Historical Booster Draft (Odyssey X3)
LOR-LOR-MOR Booster Draft

Side entertainment
Besides the main tournament and plenty of side events, GP Vienna has a lot to offer.

* Get you cards signed! We are aiming to get a artist down signing cards and having art on display. Possibilities could include.. Ralph Horsley, Carl Critchlow, John Avon
* Judges will be around and in intervals will answer questions
* Quizzes and fun activities through the day!

HOW TO REACH

TRAVEL BY CAR:
A taxi will take you around 2 minutes from the city centre.

Public transport:
Our train station (EASTBOURNE) is within walking distance of the venue.

Trains will run to Brighton, London Victoria and Ashford International up until 22:00 guaranteed.



THINGS TO SEE/DO:
Eastbourne is a enjoyable place, with a shopping centre to drop off the wife/girlfriend and kids possibly. After the event there is enough decent resturants around the town center. Also we are on the coast so the beach is literally a 30 second walk from our venue. After the event you could sit down at Eastbourne beach, if the weathers good you'll see france on the other side!

•Games Workshop : One of the UK's largest retail shops of Games Workshop with all the range and good, friendly staff.
•Lloyds Lanes : £9.00 for unlimited bowling, very enjoyable with a bar!
